Where we started…..
IIn 2014, a client who worked at an oncology center asked me to create a wig for one of their patients. I had never made a wig before, but I was willing to try.
The young woman had lost her hair during treatment and longed for something beautiful of her own. The wig she had been given was old and worn, and she couldn’t afford a new one. When my client said, “She’ll do it,” I stepped in—and I’m so glad I did.
The first time she looked in the mirror and truly saw herself again, her smile said it all. That moment of transformation inspired me to help others experience the same joy—without cost.
That was the beginning of Transformations Mane Focus, and it’s why we continue this work today.
